After 9 years, no more Astrophysics.... it's a big step away from the real
world... um,... maybe 'towards' the real world. Well, it'll be exciting -- but
from next monday i'll have a real proper job.
Other things happening: I bought some sexy chef's knives. Not because I am a
sexy chef, although I might be.... They're big, and very sharp. mmmmmmm
The orchestra i'm in are playing some pretty cool stuff - bit of Mussorgsky,
Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov... And I'm hacking away at a bit of Mozart and
Wieniawski on the fiddle....
I never did find out who pinched my cheese, but perhaps it's forgiven now...
on second thoughts... no...
In other news, Linux sucks. It's really cool, I love linux, but compiling
kernels is a bloody pain in the arse. I must, of course, choose Debian rather
than some girly distro, and of course it's more important to build kernels than
to do work or sleep or anything like that...
